If you want to learn more about training and controlling your Jack Russell, my ebook is bound to save you hours of training trial and error and relieve a lot of stress from the process: The Jack Russell Lover's Ultimate Guide to Training comes complete with a full chapter on mix breeds.
I have a well-behaved, loving, sweet, laid back 6 yr old male Jack Russell. About 5 months ago my brother passed away and I took in his 2 Jack Russells. The 2 year old male fought 24/7 with mine so my brother's best friend adopted him. He is happy on a farm with young children, visits often and seems well adjusted.
His female is 12 yrs old so I just had to keep her. She visited here 5 times a year and I saw her at his home probably once a month so I thought it would be best for her to grieve and be with familiar people and places. I have tried everything..ie kept up the same routine she had with my brother, cuddled her, loved her, let her sleep with me, but I am still having problems. She growls at everything, always keeps my male shaking under the bed. She fights him if he comes out for air to see me or to eat or anything. He has grown tired of this and has started
fighting back. So now I am in a state of constant anxiety of them growling, barking, and fighting.
Please, any ideas welcome. I have taken them for walks until we are all exhausted, used plug-ins, pampered her, talked to vets...I am still grieving too and just so tired of it all but will keep her and love her because I know my brother would have wanted it. Thanks!
