Jack Russell dragging butt on floor
by: William

Sometimes when dogs drag their bottoms on the floor it could be that their anal sacks are bothering them. But it could also be worms. If you know it is not the anal sacks then I would address flea treatment first because they are often the cause - so an oral or topical antibiotic and then an oral or injectable medication. I'm not sure if there is a deworming alternative. Because there are different types of worms, it may be best to check with your vet first about treatment plans.
