Jack Russell bald spots
by: Brian

It's normal for a dog to lose hair but it's not normal (but not uncommon) for a dog to have bald spots. There are lots of reasons dogs may lose hair (also called alopecia), from infection to irritation caused by parasites, allergies, flea bites, Cushings syndrome.
At this point I would take your Jack into the vet to make sure it's nothing serious. Your vet can decide which path to take.
Good luck, let us know what happens!
